Preventative maintenance: how good is your program? One of the chief complaints I hear daily is how the mechanics do not listen to the drivers and I know how frustrating that is for the drivers. Here they are in these trucks day in and day out and they tell the mechanic exactly what is wrong and the mechanic looks the driver straight in the eye and says, "that's impossible." That is a clear indication that there is something wrong with the PM procedure. So, I ask again, how good is your Preventative Maintenance program?
